Getting accounts into your name varies by country: sometimes you contact each provider with the lease and your ID, and sometimes the landlord keeps accounts and you reimburse, in which case insist on seeing actual bills.
Ask the landlord for the list of current providers and account numbers before move-in day, find out whether any supplier requires an in-person visit or local ID number, and confirm in the contract who pays standing charges during any vacancy overlap.
